Introduction
Acceptance of Terms & Conditions. By using the services provided by The Greenville Luxe Bus, a DBA of Eastside Transportation, LLC ("GVL Luxe Bus", "Luxe Bus," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions of Use. These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Luxe Bus. If you do not agree to these Terms & Conditions, please do not use our services.
Amendments. Luxe Bus reserves the right to modify, update, or change these Terms and Conditions from time to time and at any time. The most current version of the Terms & Conditions will be posted on our website. Your continued use of our Services (as defined below) after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.
Description of Services
The Greenville Luxe Bus provides luxury transportation services including, but not limited to, weddings, corporate transportation, special events, brewery tours, concert travel, and nights out (collectively, the "Services"). These Services are subject to availability and may be changed at any time without notice.
Booking and Reservations
Booking Accuracy. When booking or making reservations for our Services, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. It is your responsibility to double-check the details of your booking, including pick-up and drop-off locations, dates, times, and passenger count. Your booking confirmation will be emailed to you. Luxe Bus is not responsible for any errors in the information you provide.
Booking Confirmation. All bookings are subject to confirmation. A confirmed booking will have a reservation number and details. Review your confirmation for details and accuracy. Luxe Bus will execute the reservation as listed on the confirmation you received.
Reservation Cancellation. Any reservation that does not meet the Terms set forth below may be cancelled and the vehicle rescheduled without a refund.
AI Reservation Agent
Luxe Bus uses an AI voice agent ("Sarah") to handle inbound requests for quoting and booking reservations. All reservations booked through Sarah are subject to human review prior to service.
AI Quoting Errors. If a human review identifies an error made by the AI agent (for example, an incorrect number of hours, vehicle type, or pricing), Luxe Bus will modify the reservation to reflect the correct terms. The customer will receive a 10% discount on the corrected reservation total, or may elect to cancel the reservation for a full refund.
Customer-Provided Information. Errors caused by incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the customer (including but not limited to itinerary details, passenger counts, locations, or timing) will be corrected at full price and are not eligible for the 10% discount nor refund.
Payment and Cancellation Policies
Payment
Payment in full is generally required prior to any Service.
Service Time. Service time is calculated from the time the driver leaves the garage facility and ends when the driver returns. This includes all drive time, wait time, stops, traffic delays, weather delays, reasonable restroom breaks, and other events that would extend the time in the normal course of providing transportation Services.
Gratuity. Our quotes and prices have a 10% added gratuity. Gratuities processed by Luxe Bus are inclusive of any proportional company costs, ensuring your driver receives 100% of their designated gratuity.
Overage Time Policy. Any overage time incurred during the Services provided will be billed in 1-hour increments at the hourly rate of your reservation.
Application of Partial Payments. Partial payments will be applied first to any fees including Late Fees, before being applied to the cost of any Services rendered. It is your responsibility to ensure that all outstanding balances are settled in a timely manner to avoid additional charges and penalties.
Cancellation
Luxe Bus prides itself on the quality of our Service. The following cancellation policy applies to all reservations:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the scheduled service date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled service date are not eligible for any refund.
Passengers' Responsibilities
Conduct
Passengers are expected to behave in a respectful and courteous manner toward all Luxe Bus drivers, staff, vehicles, and equipment, as well as toward other passengers. Luxe Bus reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a ride if a passenger's conduct is deemed inappropriate or unsafe.
Alcohol Consumption and/or Open Container Policy. Responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages by passengers of legal drinking age is permitted aboard The GVL Luxe Bus. Any open containers found by law enforcement will be the sole responsibility of the passenger(s), including any associated fees. Passengers are responsible for ensuring all alcohol consumption complies with applicable laws.
Smoking and Drug Use Policy. Smoking, including vaping, and the use of illegal drugs, are strictly prohibited inside The Greenville Luxe Bus.
Sunroof and Window Standing Prohibition. Standing through any sunroof, window, or door opening of the vehicle is illegal and strictly prohibited to ensure the safety of passengers and compliance with the law.
Damages
Passengers are responsible for damages they cause to the vehicle during the ride and may be subject to additional charges for cleaning, repairs, or replacements as necessary. Charges for damage to the vehicle will be made at the sole discretion of Luxe Bus. The following cleaning charges apply, with each charge listed per occurrence. There may be multiple occurrences charged for a single vehicle.
- Excessive trash: $200
- Food or drink left in the vehicle: $300
- Vomit or other bodily fluids: $550
- Smoking: $450 + the cost to remove the smell
Personal Property
Luxe Bus may handle luggage and other items at the request of customers. The customer assumes all liability and will hold Luxe Bus harmless for any damage to any belongings. We are not responsible for any lost or left items; however, we will attempt to contact you regarding any items left behind found while cleaning the vehicle.
Privacy and Data Protection
Luxe Bus collects personal information for booking and service provision purposes. We are committed to protecting your privacy and will not share your information without your consent. Luxe Bus is permitted to share information with civil authorities during investigations. Payment methods on file are kept online in a secure system.
Other General Terms
Wait Times & Delays. Customers that request wait times or cause delays by their actions will have additional fees at 1-hour increments of their hourly rate. Wait times and delays may cause you to forfeit your reservation if it would interfere with fulfilling another reservation, at the sole discretion of Luxe Bus. Unplanned wait times may not always be available if they interfere with other previously scheduled reservations. Luxe Bus will prioritize on-time reservations. No refunds will be given under this policy.
Surveillance. By accepting these terms and using our Services, you affirmatively accept and release Luxe Bus to use any audio and/or video surveillance obtained by means of an internal facing and/or external facing dash camera for training or legal purposes. Luxe Bus will not sell any surveillance information.
Extensions. Luxe Bus will accommodate extension of service requests to the best of our ability. Extension of service may not be possible given vehicle and driver availability. Any extension of service will be charged when settling the reservation. Extension of service for reasons beyond our control will be charged to the customer.
Liability
Limitation of Liability. Luxe Bus is not and shall not be held liable for unforeseen events, delays, or circumstances beyond our control that may affect service delivery. Luxe Bus is not and shall not be held responsible for conditions outside of our control (e.g., weather, traffic, road conditions). In the event of a vehicle malfunction, we will provide a substitute vehicle or alternate transportation as quickly as possible. Luxe Bus is not responsible for, and expressly disclaims any liability for, any injuries or damages sustained by the Customer or Passengers after disembarking from the chartered vehicle. Luxe Bus is not responsible for injuries from altercations between Passengers before, during, or after service.
Indemnification. Customers, their heirs, agents, employers, employees, affiliates, etc., agree to indemnify and hold Luxe Bus, its parent company Eastside Transportation, LLC, and their affiliates, officers, directors, employees, shareholders, and agents harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Services or your breach of these Terms & Conditions.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of South Carolina. Any legal action arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be filed and litigated exclusively in Greenville County, South Carolina.
